Goblin

Starying Kim Eun Gan and Gong Yoo as the main leads. It’s a story of a warrior who is cursed,after killing a thousand people with his sword plus having being killed with the same sword the deity curses him to immortality where he is a guardian with the sword stuck in his chest, his end can only be met when his bride draws the sword from his heart.

This is one of the best fantasy drama ever. I thought I had seen it all with Cheese in the trap and Moon lovers and descendants of the sun from kdrama land but this drama, is incredible. It will make you laugh and cry. It is incredibly cleverly written and refreshing. I have noticed a new trend where there is no OTM or OTW instead there is a second lead couple. The second lead couple is played by Lee dong Wook and Yoona. I kind of think that Yoona looks like Lee da Hae who is ideal next to LDW so the chemistry between them is amazing. I honestly like their chemistry more than Eun Tak and Kim Shin. Sunny and Kim Woo Bin could have had their own drama. They are really good together.

The plus points for me:

1.       The chemistry between LDW and Gong Yoo for me they were the real OTP. They had a love hate relationship but really looked out for each other.

2.       The cute innocence of the two guys. Despite being immortal, they were both so innocent.

3.       Sunny was so funny, she was perfect for Woo Bin.

Negatives

1.       Somethings were left unsaid

2.       The last episode had a bunch of weird unessary scenes which I felt could have been left out like where the granny is converseing with those kids and also where LDW character is giving tea to a sweet separated couple instead of showing this they should have showed us five more minutes of Yoona and LDW.

What I learnt from this drama is you can never escape your fate. The goblin was destined to be the goblin and would remain so, And Eun Tak could not escape her fate as the missing soul.

This drama should not be missed.
